Matthew D. Daley
Matt Daley joined Vaughan & Murphy in 2007. Following his
graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law, Matt earned
an advanced degree in Brussels, Belgium, and worked for a private
law firm there before heading back to the United States to continue
his legal career.
Matt has significant expertise in antitrust law (including the
competition laws of the European Union) and has been a perfect fit
at Vaughan & Murphy, offering counsel to clients in areas of
competition and trade regulation and assisting in providing sound
legal representation in the firm's civil and criminal antitrust
practices.
Matt has gained experience and confidence in his abilities to
analyze facts in search of a winning legal argument and regularly
contributes to the formulation of arguments that have led to
favorable outcomes for clients, even when the overall defense of the
case may have appeared bleak when it first arrived at the door.
Matt's strengths lie in his legal research and writing, consistent
with the firm's strong written advocacy reputation. Matt is also
extremely well organized and professional in his dealings with the
firm's clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Matt is a soccer enthusiast and player, serving as a midfielder on
his Atlanta amateur team.
